Democratic National Convention tweets surpass RNC on first night. (Chris Rock tweets also)

From her speech to her hair, first lady Michelle Obama was a popular topic on Twitter. Celebrities like Gabrielle Union, Kim Kardashian, Janelle Monae and Jamie Foxx tweeted about the convention and Michelle Obama.

Chris Rock is apparently looking for the first lady to run in 2016.

The comedian tweeted, "I'm about to vote for Michelle Obama for President. Can we get her as a write-in? This lady is moving me. We need someone to MOVE us. #DNC."

According to a blog update from the social media site, more than 3 million people posted tweets that included the hashtag "#DNC2012" on just the first night of the event, adding that it peaked at 28,003 tweets per minute during Michelle Obama's speech.
