Calling my Republican Senators about the impeachment trial

I'm stuck with two horrifically bad Republicans for the senators in my state - Marco Rubio and Rick Scott.

I know if I call and tell them to impeach the mother fucker or to find the mother fucker guilty and remove him from office, they will not listen. So I called and was all concerned about Mitch McConnell is blocking a real trial and is talking about not allowing witnesses. That in that case Mr. Trump will not be able to ever remove this cloud over his administration and that it will be very bad for the Republican Party.

Now, if his office people do their due diligence and check my phone number, then check the voter database, they will find out that I am a life long Democratic Party member and that I have volunteered for Democratic candidates in the past.

I'm just hoping that they will not do that and take my words as the concern of an American for the lack of due process that McConnell is talking about.

Good luck - unless you can find a way to offer them millions bilked from senior citizens, and of course plenty of yayo.

So they might possibly think about bucking McConnell if it might mean more vote for them in the future. According to polls, McConnell is losing support in his state, so he will not as much power over the ambitious politicians looking forward.

And while I am registered as a Democrat, I could be one of those who has voted Republican - they have no way of knowing that. So they might listen.

I'd be surprised though.

Those two have the moral fiber of a bowl of stale Ramen noodles.

Plus you know that both Rubio and Scott have designs on the Oval Office (good luck with that, boys), so they might be able to look two steps ahead and think about what message they will send with their vote.

Great way to frame your remarks, BTW.

I use an address from Zillow that has a zip code for the particular district (the House reps) and/or state (for Senate reps). I also use my cell phone number which can be from anywhere. It takes 2 minutes to Google Zillow "apt for rent, home for sale, ...". I keep it short and sweet so they can't get too much info put of me, like what party I belong to. It has worked so far.

Not focus on removing him but focus on them insisting on a full trial with witnesses.

I called their office, the person who talked to me in Inhofe's office that I needed to realize I am in the "minority of Oklahomans and majority rules". She was so smug, as they always are because they have a stranglehold on those of us who don't agree with them. Langford's office was nicer but essetially said the same thing.

I was deliberately ambiguous - from my comments I could be of any political persuasion. They can look up my number, then look up the person connected with it and find out I am registered Democratic. But they can't know how I've voted or how I am leaning these days.

One clue for them - I did not use honorifics for either of the senators or for Dolt45. None of them deserve a title in front of their names...

Edited to add - if my representative's office people treated me that way, I'd remind them of who they are supposed to be working for and who pays their salaries. I'd also tell them that they are working for the US, not for the Republican Party and they should act that way.
