(21,284 posts)I'm guessing the vast majority of his base did not do very well in school and are equally unqualified for a federal job.
"Trump Syndrome" could become more common in the future as more children inherit fortunes and figure out they'll never have to work or become qualified to do anything because their inherited fortunes will take them wherever they want to go.

(334 posts)Trump is a textbook case of the totally unqualified being bumped to the head of the line. Complete lack of experience or qualifications is a big plus to his base because they see most politicians outside of their party as corrupt and bad. What's more, his minions love him because he's an "outsider," and fancy that being unqualified means that he, like they, will always make the right decisions based on "common sense."
