Hey, DU lawyers!

What are the possible penalties Michael Flynn is facing when he's sentenced on January 28th?

U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan has not seemed sympathetic towards the defendant, in fact, quite the opposite. His complete dismissal of Flynn's petitions indicate that he's done with Flynn.

It would bee sweet to see Flynn sent to prison.

The maximum penalty for lying to a federal agent, the crime for which he was convicted, is $10,000 or five years in prison. But the federal sentencing guidelines suggest zero to six months in prison for someone with no prior criminal history who is charged with that crime.
