They have the power to change the rule if they think that more debate is needed... and they have the power to move the final vote to whatever day they want.

Is tomorrow better than today?

but doesn't the House have to consider each article independenty?

So, if at the end of the debate, there is no vote, can they move on to debate the other article?

of engagement, basically, which going on right now. Then the Articles are debated, I think individually. The Rs are simply playing delay tactics right now.

Unless they have moved on to the debates for the Articles... The actual voting to actually accept the Articles, the actual impeachment vote, can happen when the debates are finished whenever that is.

That they felt that once the vote is taken, withhold it in the House and not advance it to the Senate for certain acquittal, but rather hold the process in the House to further investigate and again reveal to the public in the coming months the criminal acts this president has conducted. Reveal on a broad scale his involvement with Italian and Russian organized crime. Hit him up on the emoluments clause and paying off Stormy Daniels. Keep screaming about what a con man he really is, having bilked charities for his own gain. Turn up the heat.

I apologize to those whose credentials and knowledge is far greater than mine, but to me it makes sense. I believe we narrowed the focus of the articles of impeachment too much, and if we’re going to remove this wart from the White House, it will take a landslide to overcome the vote rigging that is sure to happen under the guidance of an American political party. I can’t t believe that I’m saying this in the country that is my home. The land of the free, home of the brave.

Democrats need a nationwide “get out the vote” campaign, a rock solid candidate to replace what’s his name, and wide media relentless coverage of his atrocities on a daily basis.
