Today is the day all us here knew would eventual happen.

I knew and so did many other people, the moment Trump was elected it would end in disaster. We knew he was completely unqualified, corrupt and stupid. We knew it would turn into complete chaos. We knew it would not work.

Trump will be impeached today and then there will be a trial. Now we are all wondering will he be removed. Will the Republicans destroy our democracy by acquitting Trump?

I will say this over and over again. The Republicans best option is to force Trump to resign, it is self evident. No matter how the Republicans vote they will be viciously attacked. Their jobs will be at risk no matter how they vote.

What fear is controlling them from seeing their best option? What profit do they see in protecting Trump at the expense of our constitution? Have they become victims of the bubble they themselves created for their voters? Does the bubble they created blind them from the truth? Acquitting Trump would be an act of madness. If Trump is acquitted there is a very good chance things could spin out of control.

All of us here knew this moment was coming. We didn't know how or when, we just knew it would end in disaster.

attacked verbally, that is a given. No sane American is going to have this happen in their country.
Call me hopeful, and never to surrender either.

Do these people go home to an undisclosed island every night where none of this matters?
