I believe he is doing a terrible job moderating this impeachment proceeding. He's speaking nonsense and interrupting everyone, he must love the sound of his own voice.

(131,217 posts)and constantly interrupts. He'll ask an interviewee for their opinion on something and then jump right in and talk over them, offering his opinion, before they've even finished a sentence. He's always done that, though; this is nothing new.

(42,391 posts)I can't understand why anyone would want to be on his show, when he won't let anyone speak or make their point. It's so annoying to us listeners as well.

(19,749 posts)I hardly watch any cable news at all, but I *never* watch MSNBC when he's on the air. I cannot stand him.
I watch some MSNBC, but literally have made a point of not watching his shit show going back to like 2003 when could not longer take him.

(14,965 posts)the air since I was teen. I guess I tolerate him, I like him more than Chuck Todd or Steve Kornacki. It makes me feel bad to say that. Maybe because my grandparents used to watch him and I often think of Tim Russert when I watch him, Idk I'm weird I guess.

(1,584 posts)a few years ago. He asked her a question and then kept on talking. He was about 7 sentences in when he realized she hadn't tried to answer him. He said" well, aren't you going to answer?" She said "I was waiting for you to finish." He shut up and let her talk. The look on his face, So Funny.

(32,761 posts)ever since he feuded with Phil Donahue over the Iraq war. Tweety was pro Iraq war while Donahue was strongly against it.
There are people who say that Tweety got Donahue fired from MSNBC in 2003.

(13,386 posts)Short of the time when he was on air, I watched every episode until he vanished. I say get rid of tweety asshole, reinstall Donahue.

(23,436 posts)He forgets he invites those knowledgeable guests to give us in-depth information. He has the show, we know what he thinks. I heard people call him Tweety. I watch him the least.
I am getting annoyed with some of the others, though, too. Why emphasize that there was some dissent at a Democratic town hall meeting. I read a headline, then read the article, and toward the end, the dissent was described as 'a few people'. Yesterday, Lawrence O'Donnell, of all people, asked a freshman representative about dissent at his town hall. This was after they aired a video showing cheering and a standing ovation when the representative said he was voting for the impeachment to go forward. I watched the tape, and I really didn't hear any booing, but that's what Lawrence asked about.
I have an idea. Have the media go to repuke town halls and see how much booing happens when the enabling repuke says he'll defend trump regardless.

(18,690 posts)Todd. His interruptions are the thing that annoys me the most; however, he actually has a lot of knowledge of political history. I think he is passionate and gets excited about the things he talks about, and that--as opposed to trying to "rush" guests or talk over them if he disagrees--is why he interrupts. But maybe I'm giving him too much credit.
He doesnt listen. He never asks astute follow ups.

(32,010 posts)his deep and wide historical knowledge base that he wields in a way that comes off as patriotic rather than professorial. He has a solid, midwestern appeal I think is helpful when making the case to independents and swing-staters we very much need.
