I'm fine, with no fires anywhere near me, but it's looking pretty grim for a lot of the country.

I'm way down in the south east of the country - across the strait from Tasmania, one of the few parts of the country not in severe drought because of the coastal climate.

At the time, I lived very close to the 'Black Saturday' fires of 2009. It can get very scary.
