Has anyone read Spying on the South by Tony Horwitz?

I stumbled upon it at the library in the bestseller section. He writes about retracing Fredrick Olmstead's journeys through the south just before the Civil War and finds many echoes in the divisions we are now experiencing. Fascinating and very engaging. I haven't been able to put it down.
