If I was a multi-billionaire, I'd spend my excess money on medical research

Research into cancers, Alzheimer's disease, ALS, etc. I would not be spending money on political causes, running for president or any other office, buying a professional sports team, or even giving it to the arts.

I would want my legacy to be that I helped heal my fellow man and saved lives. I'd rather be Jonas Salk not Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos.

4. Would likely do the same. I do think running for Prez as a billionaire, millionaire or even

a corporate leader, could allow one to begin a transformation where corporations and similar organizations and groups have a much greater societal focus (like in Denmark and similar countries). That would be a transformation that would cover healthcare, safety net, eradicating poverty, etc.

Then I'd have it aired on every news broadcast. And then I'd spend my other millions on assorted charities.

7. Remember Danny Thomas? Hardly a billionaire, but used his money to found St. Jude's Hospital.

Imagine if each of our hundreds of billionaires used just a small percentage of their wealth to help others, instead of using it to grab more money for themselves. Money they will never spend.
