The GOPer moderates will make up a big show like they are protesting Mitch and Trump. But, then vote giving Trump everything he wants.

She has at times done the right thing, damn the torpedoes.

I really don't think she needs to fear Trump either.

The "powers that be" said the same things about Hitler in the very early days. They would "control" the little corporal...

How did that work out???

I often used to wonder how a "normal" country like Germany let Hitler rise to power and do all that crazy shit... and well, you know the rest...

in a (wildly creative) extrapolation of one fairly mushy statement by one senator .. "widely reported" mostly on the basis of the "man bites dog" aspect of the story. "Look, dissent among the Republicans!"

Like I said .. I'll take anybody feeding one high and inside to Mitch, at almost any time .. but I hope you're not holding your breath on the "revolt" thing.

This isn't an anonymous source, This is a trial balloon.

Are you aware of the fact that Murkowski has joined with Democrats to defeat Trump supporters twice?

On 2010 she lost the Republican nomination and won on a write in ballot and in 2016 she won the nomination and defeated the Trump candidate Miller on the Libertarian ticket with wide spread Democratic votes.

Any revolt by Republican Senators (even 4-5 on procedural issues) will start with Murkowski, and she will do it incrementally.

It could be that she is a part of a group of Senators from likely Democratic States (Collins, Gardner, McSally) who are going to vote with Trump on the end but want to show independence on other votes, or it could be she is negotiating bilaterally for her next election but at no point is it a bullshit story. Murkowski was elected with widespread Democratic support so anything she says publicly is significant.

That Murkowski may simply be trying to negotiate a deal for her reelection?

None of us know what she may be thinking but it should be noted that when she ran she was elected she was elected with a very large Democratic number, possibly with more Democratic votes than Republican.

The 2nd and 3rd place candidates were tea party pro Trump candidates and the "Democratic" candidate was a Republican crossover.

If there is going to be a mini revolt of a few to push back on McConnell's trial rules Murkowski would be the most likely person to announce first, which doesn't mean anything else will develop.

Calling something that has a legitimate news relevance and is being reported in all major outlets as "click bait" is asinine. Saying "bullshit" is a juvenile retort but doesn't qualify as either information, explanation or argument.

Nobody "blasted" McConnell. Murkowski just expressed Collins-esque "concern," and will reliably rubber stamp everything just like she's supposed to do. Raw Story is getting more and more farcical.

Retrumplicans give one fuck about our Constitution and the rule of law...they don't

The real story is that Retrumplicans are facing a revolt from sane Americans that can't fathom that this orange asspickle is somehow the president.

Americans are fucking pissed! That's what happens when you try to force people to take seriously...an ignorant fuckstick that should never...in a million, billion years...BE TAKEN FUCKING SERIOUSLY!!!!

There's quite a fucking lot to be said of Donnie Shit for Brains, but the absolute one thing that should never have been said is that he should be taken seriously.

He's a frickin circus clown that you wouldn't even give a second fucking thought to... they made him the most powerful person on the fucking planet.

There's a reckoning coming. That reckoning is going to make the mushroom eating writer of Revelations look around and say; "damn, that's some trippy shit"
