McConnell and Graham promise their oaths for the proceedings will be ignored and they will run it to get the outcome Dear Leader demands, it's a show trial. Looking at Russian disinformation instead of what the Con actually did, is a show trial. Anything less than a fair hearing, with relevant witnesses and evidence, and the Senate acting with independence, is a show trial.
