Ohio Minimum Wage Increase to $8.70/ hour

snip--The state’s minimum wage will rise 15 cents an hour from $8.55 to $8.70 when the calendar switches to 2020. Workers who receive tips will see an increase in minimum pay from $4.30 an hour to $4.35.

snip--The state’s minimum wage is $1.45 more than the federal minimum wage, which sits at $7.25 per hour. That rate has been unchanged for 10 years.
