In 1965, John Lewis knowingly and willingly put his life on the line on a freedom march in Selma Alabama. He was beaten mercilessly by the nightsticks of white "lawmen." He fought the good fight during the entire civil rights era and never backed down.
Keep sending all your positive vibes to him. This is a great, courageous man the world cannot afford to lose.
