For my 20,000th post I would just like to say, "Thanks DU".
Despite the occasional bouts of internecine bickering, this place has remained a bastion of progressive thought, and a bulwark against the creeping ratfuckery of that gang of criminals, misfits, misogynists, racists, losers, and plain old-fashioned shitheads previously known as the Republican Party.
For 18 years I've found a home here, and while I must be something of a slacker to have taken this long to reach 20K, I've still managed to say most of what I wanted to say, while only being served one granite pizza (and thanks, Skinner, for giving me a second chance, way back when).
Anyway, Happy New Year, DU. Here's to 18 more years (and may at least 17 of them be blessedly Trump-free)!
