Mobile Alabama...in one day, in one picture, destroyed its reputation.

Picture of cops holding sign ridiculing homeless...at this link:

Where does someone get the idea to do something that stupid and insensitive? What will the city do? If the police chief encouraged an atmosphere that would tolerate this, what happens to him? This picture was published a few hours ago, but as they say, "it is going viral."
... This will be everywhere within 24 hours or less. What can one say? How could the atmosphere that created this, be allowed or encouraged?

....In a large city, with a mixed police force, in a city with lots of homelessness, I do not think that this would even be thought of. The cops would think twice before making fun of homeless people. Wouldn't they?...Say in New York or Los Angeles?

The problem in the picture is not Mobile, Alabama. It's cops. Cops are shitty everywhere. WhiskeyGrinder Dec 2019 #8

contempt. The hate runs deep and we haven't seen the beginning of the end of it. But we can continue on, set out own hearts to right and do our best to educate people. This world has potential, let's make it real.

Of Reagan's legacy. How many of these people should be in a mental health hospital but have no place to go?

at the head of the class. A 'quilt', especially for the Captain. It's systemic, it's nation-wide, and it's no accident. These cops are trained by, and working for someone, and it isn't 'we the people'.

He was standing on the freeway off ramp and had a sign saying, “ smiling makes you tingle when you smile”. The sign made my husband and I smile so we gave him money. The car behind us also did. I liked his creativity and originally. The poor guy looked like he had been on the streets a long time.

Homelessness is everywhere in this country. everywhere you go you see it. I know MF45 is attacking SF, LA and N.Y. for our homeless problems but it’s even in red states like Arizona and Alabama. These a hole cops need to be fired. They give good cops a bad name. Must be bad training at the academy with these bad apples.
