He will likely send signals through emissaries goading trump to launch an air strike. Then the russians will help the iranians shoot our planes down.

He wants instability. He wants american strength diminished. Yet he wants trump re-elected. He will let iran get bloodied up as long as it serves his interests and hurts ours. But he doesn't want to push it so far that trump loses.

But I'm sure he has drawn a bright line that no ground invasion, and no nuclear weapons, will be tolerated. On both sides.

He wants instability, not an all out shooting war.
