I lurked for a while and joined in 2004.
My oldest sister was born in America as my parents were returning home in 1945 My siblings chose America as well. I love your libraries, your museums, bookstores and a few stores in your malls.
I remain wary abut social media and never joined facebook, Twitter or any of the rest of them. DU is my connection with the US and the world and I have made many friends here. Love you all - well most of you.

Since I retired I have been ever present here - and I'm sticking around to cheer on the removal of this monster and his goons.
