Through nefarious means. (Not that he needs any help mind you. He's quite capable of fucking things up all by himself)

That's nuts.

(58,785 posts)Hillary's unlikeable, lock her up. Mostly amplifying the Repubs, Russia's, China's, and Sanders' noise.
Iran isn't saying why. But the U.S. has long been committed to containing Iran's religious imperialist ambitions and has been so successful that Iran, a prosperous and militarily advanced nation, has long had to resort to secretive "asymmetrical" actions, namely promoting terrorist acts, and had to become a partner in its own denuclearization.
So my best assumption is the obvious one, that Iran chose for destruction, or at least disordering, of the planet's stabilizer superpower over continuation of containment under HRC. Just like Russia.
In any case, Iran DID intervene in the election against Democrats and for Trump. That we know. And now Iran's leadership is plotting how to turn the successfully disordered U.S.'s renegade action to their global military and religious benefit.
Reportedly they're now claiming to take the "high road" against the evil U.S. by only striking our military. Even as terrorist acts begin elsewhere.

(58,785 posts)worked to not just elect Trump but put the badly corrupted Republican Party in power in 2016.
Our intelligence agencies have reported on this, not just investigative journalism. It's really a big deal, especially since they're doing it again, or expected to, because it worked so well. Democrats are the problem that constrains renegade nations.
