MIAMI — In his first public appearance since the strike that killed Maj. Gen. Qassim Suleimani of Iran, President Trump rallied his evangelical Christian base of supporters on Friday, portraying himself as the restorer of faith in the public square and claiming that God is “on our side.”

This rambling speech included making fun of democrats, name calling, telling lies.

And in this same speech where he is promising tougher abortion laws- He is justifying the killing of Suleimani. Very Christ like indeed.

He was definitely trying to up the ante with evangelicals against democrats though telling them that "God is on our side". When did God become a registered Republican?
The whole thing is so ridiculous. These religious folks have lost all reason. Lost all critical thinking. Thats why I mentioned him talking about toughening abortion laws and in the same speech justifying the killing of Suleimani.
