War crimes, Trump, and The Hague

If Trump does indeed target cultural monuments in Iran (which the UN states constitutes a war crime) what would a Democratic president do? Would Trump be extradited to The Hague to stand trial, or would the government protect him?

When he is no longer President, such a refusal will not be available to him, and no Pence pardon would apply in international courts. He is screwed, if he commits war crimes. So, I suggest that he not do that.

I just hope the next sane government doesn’t refuse to extradite (if it comes to that). I’d like to think Canada would extradite one of our officials if they committed a war crime.

Never has been. No one is going to be extradited there. There is no legal authority. No president, Democratic or not, is going to do that.
