Battery breakthrough? Game changing tech

https://cleantechnica.com/2020/01/09/the-first-battery-breakthrough-story-of-2020-comes-from-nikola-motors-there-will-be-many-more/

Trevor Milton, CEO of Nikola Motors, is the first person in 2020 to claim a fantastic, not gonna believe it, absolutely game-changing lithium-ion battery breakthrough that will double the range of EVs, lower costs, and cure the heartbreak of psoriasis. According to NBC News, Milton announced this week “the Holy Grail of batteries. We are not talking about small improvements; we are talking about doubling the range of BEVs and hydrogen-electric vehicles around the world.”

My wife suffers from psoriasis. It is an auto immune disease and there is no cure. Most relief comes with severe side effects and for many, most treatments are not an option due to other health concerns. Using the phrase "cure the heartbreak of psoriasis" is disrespectful to people who actually suffer from this debilitating disease.

What does this battery announcement have to do with psoriasis? Maybe just take a step back, chill, and not get offended by any little quote that you might have possibly taken out of context.

Welcome to DU BTW.

From someone who obviously doesn't suffer from psoriasis. I do.
