(6,161 posts)Presidents go to important sporting events all the time. But I dont ever remember seeing them participate in the pregame activities like this. With the exception of baseball first pitches which is a tradition of its own.
I would bet that his campaign asked to be invited to crash the party. Craven assholes that they are. The only good thing is that I doubt the visuals were the net positive that they were assuming.
