A theory on why most of the GOP are running scared

Many of us have been wondering what happened to Lindsey Graham who made a 180 turn about the con after only 18 holes of golf, we also continue to pull our hairs whenever we see/hear a GOP rep who we thought had some dignity come out in a weird defense of the con, many of us also wonder why are they silent when they know what is happening is so wrong.

We have been thinking "they have been kompromised", but my theory after what we learned last night is that "no, they have not been kompromised", THEY HAVE BEEN THREATENED, THEIRS AND THEIR FAMILIES LIVES HAVE BEEN THREATENED.

For Lindsey Graham to have made such a turn? something big and scary must have happened to him. In the morning of that fateful day he is sane, he understands the con is not good for the USA and the World, that he is a crook, an ignorant, etc., one round of golf later he is another person, his behaviour about the con have changed completely. From an opposing figure he is transformed into a lapdog. And it is not that he was impressed with the con's skills on the golf course, imagine all the cheating the con did to have made the previous Graham vomit, but it is what the con said to him that made it clear that his life was on the line.

My theory is that many of the GOP members have received threats and they are now, literally, doing whatever it takes to save their skins, their lives, the lives of their families.

People, we have a mafia administration, and the Russians are the hit men in this picture.

There are some GOP members that may not need the threats because they are simply stupid, Jordan, Gaetz, Ratcliffe, and you know the rest, but those who voiced their real opinions about the con in the past and are more influential, like Graham, McConnell, etc. have been given an ultimatum. Anyone ever wonder why Paul Ryan got away form politics so quickly? A narcissist like Ryan who decided to leave the public office that had him on every newspaper everyday, feeling important?

Anyway, that is my theory, and after what we learned about what these criminals were plotting to do to Marie Yovanovitch I am convinced that is how the con and the Russians are operating.

4. Like any good Mafia boss,

those that now mindlessly support Trump were made an offer that was too good to refuse.

Initially they thought there was some way to profit from their position, but then they had second thoughts, and the 'consequences' of defecting were revealed.
Basically - putting their political smarts on hold for basic self preservation.

But the whole GOP is becoming irrelevant, it is no longer the party it was, not a good or positive political force for America.
Soon it will wither and die.

There is room for much younger, more empathetic political leaders to enter the arena. What party they represent doesn't matter, it's the values they live by that do.

GOP is the party of stale old entitled and greedy white men. It has no place in American politics.
