This is exactly why the Republican Party focused on filling positions on Boards of Education across the country back in the 80s, to dismantle the public education system. At the same time they funded think tanks to craft their message and bought up radio stations to broadcast it, and here we are 40 years later, with a minority of misinformed, gullible, dissatisfied folks who are about to take down the entire country.
