Excuse me while I take a moment to, once again, thank Democrats across the country for the Blue Wave

If anyone EVER tries to tell you voting doesn't matter, remind them what life would be like had we not flipped the House in November 2018.

overt attempt to block and flip votes.

They are gonna do some real bad shit and we need an overwhelming tsunami.

But, if some folks decide not to vote because their particular candidate is not on the ballot, we could lose and lose our country. Many children will be tortured and killed not to mention adults all over the world and here.

BTW, VA just passed the ERA today and that would not have happened if we didn't flip it blue.

3. The entire impeachment would have never happened

Nancy Pelosi would not be House Speakers.
Ukraine would be “investigating” Joe Biden’s son and painting Joe as corrupt and unelectable. Ambassador Yovanovitch would be dead (mysteriously).
Muslims would be banned from coming to the US.
Trump’s wall would be built.
Detention camps would thrive as a means of controlling the population. They would be expanded to house all brown people living in the US as well as the homeless, starting with the ones in California.
National parks would be sold to the mining and oil industries.
Trump towers and golf courses would be built in every state, paid for by the tax payers.
People would be charged for White House tours, and all the Trump properties would be open to tourists on certain days, for a fee.
The Trump boys would have the first big game hunting club on US soil, charging hunters a large fee to satisfy their blood thirst.
Ivanka’s trademark clothes and shoes would be thriving with all the advertising being done by the media, free of charge as they followed her around all in a whirlwind of excited.
There’s more, but it’s endless.

the blue wave was powered by a rainbow wave that started at the dog catcher level.

i never did see a number for all the local offices that flipped. but that wave rippled through all the chicago collar counties.
so many great candidates knocking so many doors.

If they fuck up..

I had such a huge lump in the pit of my stomach. I couldn't believe what was happening. Everyone on MSNBC looked gloomy, especially after James Carville spouted off.

The urban/rural divides in culture, avg education levels, and values have always been there, but they're just on steroids now. Incredibly high and increasing correlations to congressional representation.

So thank you, DC suburbs! (Also thank you DC metro area for being able to bring in a Rolling Stones concert last summer.)

I'm not in Spanberger's district but am only a stone's throw away and soooooo wanted to be in it to vote for her Nov 2018.

With a rethuglican House of Representatives all of this is just swept under the rug, and TrumpCo. destroys the country unabated.

We would be roasting in hell if we hadn't won the House in 2018.
