So... who will the Repubs run in 2020..?

I am heartened in my belief that he won't serve out his term by the Parnas interview. I don't have to believe Parnas...I just want his charges and evidence investigated at the Benghazi level of intensity.

Pence seems implicated, and the Dems will eat him alive in the campaign...smearing trump all over him.

Who will the Repubs run? My guess is Romney.

I hope there are people in the party thinking of ways to stop Romney. Or whoever.

through and through. They’re still all in for the MF. I think Pence is under the bus and the MF will pick Nikki Haley as VP.

The House...?

Parnas is indicted for crimes. They will say the same thing about him that they did about Cohen: you can't trust him.

The GOP will still use this to smear his credibility.

However, Parnas was Trump's and Giuliana's guy.

I find their whining about him being unreliable rather amusing.

If there was in irrefutable video of Trump on the phone with Zelensky, telling him specifically to announce an investigation into Biden to help him get elected, or else he’d withhold all aid to the Ukraine, he’d be acquitted by the Senate. If there was a video of Trump subsequently saying that he didn’t want witnesses or documents in the Senate trial because they could expose his guilt, and also said that every Republican Senator was his personal lapdog, he’d be acquitted by the Senate.

There is absolutely no way Trump gets acquitted by this Senate, under any circumstances, ever.

Many in the GOP may find Trump personally distasteful, but he's checking the boxes on their to-do list. They are licking their chops at the prospect of four more years in which they will most likely pick off two more SCOTUS liberals and replace aging Clarence Thomas. They are looking at the prospect of not only overturning Roe, but much more of the Warren Court legacy - including Gideon and Miranda. He has rolled back environmental regulations and slashed corporate taxes. They had both houses of Congress and the court for all practical purposes during the W Bush years, and didn't get 1/5 as much accomplished.
