Cohen claimed some of the polls were being fixed by trump, so some of them should be taken with a grain of salt. When they are unfavorable it also might be even worse numbers for trump if its corrupted polling.

back and be shocked by just how many polls were corrupted. Every time someone gets upset about a poll, I think of this.

over 50%? Seems odd to rig polls and still make your approval abysmal by historic standards.

The poll can't vary wildly from the average of what the poll is on an average week, that would be too obvious. I don't know if I explained that right?

Keeping it higher than it really is or should be is one thing, but if he just put his approval at 80% everyone would obviously just dismiss the poll as entirely fraudulent.

certainly underscores. I really can't imagine that ever happening within the same generation without having someone infinitely worse like Trump.

have resulted in some 'thinning' of support - a danger to healthcare, Gold Star families, etc., etc.,

Hope this concept shows up in election day.

my big hope is that enthusiasm for Trump is actually falling, and these numbers seem to suggest that, which would lead to more Trumplodytes staying home in November.

Among Indies, perhaps we will get some swing votes. Hopefully Dems will be fully motivated to continue the 2018 wave.
