In January 2020 so far 8 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed and more than a dozen wounded according to Unian.

That's during the ceasefire.

Early last fall Ukrainian deaths were a big deal. Because we cared. Just not about the Ukrainian deaths--the dead were a prop.
