An interesting perspective. I have cotton shopping bags in my truck all the time now.

They were deemed so special that people saved and reused them because not all stores had them.

I've packed cloth bags for yrs but mainly forget to bring them into the store.

Also, because we live in a city neighborhood, we must pick up & carry our dogs' poop off the neighborhood grounds & so we use those plastic grocery bags for that. We even had to buy a roll of those little doggie poop bags because the big pups often poop more than we shop. Yep, go figure.
