The Trump impeachment trial team is adding a number of Republican House members to their ranks.

Tonight Fox News broke news that that following Republican congressmembers will be on the legal team:

Jim Jordan
Doug Collins
Debbie Lesko
Mark Meadows
John Ratcliffe
Elise Stefanik
Lee Zeldin
Mike Johnson

Basically, Trump threw them a bone so they can claim that had something to do with Trump's acquittal.

Stefanik and Lesko are not. Meadows does not even have a bachelor's degree according to Wikipedia

Zeldin and Collins are lawyers, as is Johnson

They're just "advising" and not actually participating in the presentation of the defense. It's a way for Trump to throw his defenders a bone so they can claim they played a role in his acquittal.
