Avenatti's arrest was spurred by Avenatti with his criminal acts, like stealing from his clients.

He's being charged with defrauding clients of millions of dollars and trying to extort Nike, as has been reported extensively.

Now, do I believe he's an angel? Not hardly. But he deserves his day in court.
