I can't listen to the Republicans.

I tried. I cannot. it's all lies. example. Philbin is up to bat, so I unmuted to see if I could catch him saying anything that addressed the matter at hand in an honest way. NO.

he was saying that trump has to PRESERVE his power for future presidents. trump, who has shit on the constitution and thumbed his nose at the law, Congress, courts, and the people. must protect the "rights" of future presidents to do the same.

back to the mute button.

And just caught the tail end of one of 45's attorney's. Don't know who is speaking now (4:28 pm) but she's calming me down.

As blatant as their lies are, they sure stick to them. Again with the "secret hearings in the basement with no Republicans", a flat out lie.

Rwanda level propagandizing. it infuriates me. i'm scared. democracy is going down in my country in my lifetime. all of our remedies are sneered at by republicans, the fucking traitors.

The Democrats are great imo. Though I still think they should have loaded up the Articles. every single impeachable act. every broken law. all evidence of corruption.

yeah, i didn't bother during the house hearings because they were all so over the top. i guess i was hoping that the gravity of the proceedings would somehow snap them out of their bubbles. i was wrong. i feel pretty hopeless at the moment.

I keep thinking I should listen, but I just can't tolerate their constant lying. LOUDLY. Repeating things that have been debunked over and over and over. "Republicans not allowed in the depositions." Come on! That's observably, on its face, untrue. But they keep claiming it.

I just can't take it.
