Republicans are pulling out all of the stops to acquit Trump and I expect their show-trial to deliver the bullshit outcome where they cover for Trump's illegality.

Here's the problem: Of Trump's many crimes, his attempts to manipulate our elections is the most nefarious because it undermines our entire system of government. If our elections have been interfered with and manipulated by outside forces, how valid are the results?

Accordingly, if we know that Republicans are cheating with the help of foreign actors, why bother voting? The results will be illegitimate.

Republicans are mere inches away from destroying our country.

1. Indeed they are.

They are the greatest threat this country has ever faced.

I have been saying it for years.

It has taken decades for them to get into position.

This has been their goal from the beginning.

They hate democracy.

I do not view them as a political party.

I view them as the enemy.

2. And they are doing it on purpose for profit and power for themselves & their ilk.

They would destroy our constitutional laws and way of life to establish permanent power for themselves and steal all the middle class and poor people's money and give it to the rich. They want to make laws dependent on who you are - rich white males can rape anyone and it's ok, everyone else goes to jail, repugs pay less taxes just because they are in a red backward state that already hurts workers and collect more from people who live in blue states so they can hurt those workers more and punish them for living in blue states, being a woman or a minority. This isn't random or happenstance, they, through the orders of PUtin pushed on them by drumpf, are deliberately hurting America and making Russia richer. Buying 30 billion $ of *(defective Deriipaska) steel from Russia for a totally ineffective and environmentally hurtful wall is another way they are fucking us over for Russia's benefit. They WANT to and are doing their best to destroy us.
