NY Times 5 Takeaways on Trump and Ukraine From John Bolton's Book

Last edited Mon Jan 27, 2020, 10:12 AM - Edit history (1)

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/26/us/politics/john-bolton-trump-book-takeaways.html

* Mr. Trump tied his willingness to release aid to Ukraine on investigations he sought.

* Mr. Trump was at odds with his senior national security officials.

* Mr. Bolton says he talked to Mr. Barr and Mr. Pompeo about Mr. Giuliani.

* Mr. Bolton is willing to testify. The White House doesn’t want him to.

* The manuscript introduced a significant twist to the impeachment trial.

If the Senate does vote to hear from Mr. Bolton, the trial could stretch deep into February.

And despite overwhelming evidence that Trump sold out his country and his office republican
senators are still gonna let him walk and not call Bolton to testify. They know he is guilty, a
con man, and working for Putin but they don't care.

The Rude Pundit has summed it all up very nicely.

"And, frankly, Republicans are more obsessed with 2016 now than Democrats are because they know, they fucking know, that Trump's victory is illegitimate and they have to do everything in their power to not let that fact become viral."

Oh well time for me to call Rob Portman's office again.

Donald Jenius tRump was going to read it!! Or even Jenius Jr? In a NORMAL administration, that would have been read by many, many people. Starting with the lawyers. After seeing those lawyers in action I guess that was silly of me to even THINK they would read the manuscript.

See the NYT article for full context:

In the [draft] manuscript of Mr.Bolton's new book he revealed

During a previously reported May 23 meeting where top advisers and Senator Ron Johnson, Republican of Wisconsin, briefed him about their trip to Kyiv for the inauguration of President Volodymyr Zelensky, Mr. Trump railed about Ukraine trying to damage him and mentioned a conspiracy theory about a hacked Democratic server, according to Mr. Bolton.

Russian/Republican Rat F***ing put him back into the Senate in 2016.

Russ Feingold was @ >90% chance of winning his senate race in 2016 and yet
some how he lost and Johnson won. And didn't Johnson spend July 4, 2018
in Moscow too?

that help put Wisconsin's Electoral College votes the Trump column. Meaning he is/was aware of the Russian election interference occurring in Wisconsin.

And no doubt some of the polling data (really advanced data analytics) that Manafort, Gates, and the
Trump campaign passed onto the Russians/Kilimnk was the data Russia needed to micro target states
such as Wisconsin in order to rig the election.

A picture that reveals "expanded hacking" to include all of the voter suppression schemes the GOP has implemented along with the Facebook /Twitter Russian bots and trolls spreading falsehoods to manipulate voter perceptions or what you have called micro-targeting.

Wisconsin was ripe for the picking as this state's the election infrastructure has been manipulated for a GOP advantage (gerrymandering, voter ID, voter suppression) at least since Scott Walker's first term as governor.

WASHINGTON – Former national security adviser John Bolton wanted no part of what he derided as the White House's "drug deal" to pressure Ukraine into investigating Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, a former White House official told congressional investigators on Monday, according to reports of her testimony from The New York Times and NBC News.

Right now McConnell is scrambling to get the senate to vote for an acquittal of Trump and shut this thing down
ASAP. He knows Trump is guilty and he doesn't care. "Mitch McConnell is the thief of the nation's soul." Charlie
