Is that, as a general rule, DUers are not huge fans of any of those. To be rooting for them to succeed - especially Bolton - runs counter to most everything we support here.

It's like rooting for USC to beat UCLA if you are a Cal grad, if USC winning would put Cal in the Rose Bowl. (That happened a few years ago.) Cal never roots for USC. As we here don't root for Bolton.

Does that clear it up for you?

My hot head has gotten me in trouble a couple of times, but I learn and have gotten better at reading my posts first to make sure it fits the terms of service. However, if you are respectful of the posters and support Democrats, this is a great place to come and learn things and share things as well. I find it to be a home away from home, where I can communicate with like minded people. Hope you enjoy it here as well.

Go figure. I used to worry about what was in my FBI file back in the day. Definitely didn’t think that they were the good guys—more like the American Gestapo.

Now they’re the closest thing we’ve got to good guys. They at least are concerned that there be rules.

Not like this lot of anti-democratic subversives.

I can't explain it but we see it everywhere! It's not really--we're becoming our parents sort of thing. Or the conservatives are the new radicals---although this plays a part.

We are truly witnessing a tectonic shift in ideology. We support stability, rationality and beneficial work while the so-called conservatives support radical destruction of systems that have "helped" us somewhat. Conservatives are tools of the Kochs, the Mercers and anything that helps real people, they're against.

Or is it more basic: Governments should help the people--we say. Conservatives are just stupid fucks.

I'm Ok, you're Ok Corral. (Speaking to Conservatives)

I hope Carl Reiner stays with us long enough to witness a restoration of the moral and ethical leadership we held under President Obama and after Trump is hounded out of office and replaced by a genuine American -- of the Democratic persuasion, of course.

but most of them don't last all that long. Undoubtedly the FBI will soon be back to keeping close tabs on the Quakers and Raging Grannies (not making this up) instead of a disaster in the White House who has threatened their careers.

Bolton is the fascinating one, he hasn't contradicted a single word of leaked text. He's despised by the left as a warmonger, so there is no way the propagandists can say he's part of a deep state leftist plot.

I'm just enjoying the collapse of the coverup. I'm hoping "so what?" isn't an adequate defense.

We crossed that Rubicon a long time ago when we started rooting for Jeff 'White Sheet' Sessions to hang in there, so that Trump wouldn't stick 'Judge' Jeanine in as Attorney General. Or suddenly making that shithead Comey, who, together with PUTIN provided the two hits to Clinton that put Trump over the finish line into some kind of HERO.

And what about rooting for reactionary John Roberts to be the only semi-adult in the room during a Senate trial.

What next? We start actually BELIEVING Susan Collins when she says she's 'concerned?'
