President Carter speaks out about the Kushner-guided plan...

Carter, who brokered Camp David accord, on Trump Middle East peace plan: "The new U.S. plan undercuts prospects for a just peace between Israelis and Palestinians. If implemented, the plan will doom the only viable solution to this long-running conflict, the two-state solution."

during his interview with Christiane Amanpour (not to mention his not-so-veiled misogyny toward her) still has me steaming. I only wish there was hope for a decent change of government for Israel because their Likudist Netanyahu-led Trump sycophancy is not going to do the Israeli people any benefit in the long run.

Only the joint list (Arab), Meretz, and part of Labor are against this. The latter two are running together to insure they meet the threshold. Israel has moved far to the right since it first formed a government.

Not 23, not 24, but 25! So everybody else can just shut up in the presence of Jared Kushner's awesomely deep knowledge about the Middle East. And no, you can't know the titles of any of the books, so quit asking.

That it plays into his Evangelical bases' wishes is a plus, he cares much more about his own money since he's not worried that the Russians won't steal the election for him. From the way he and the Repugs act, it must be a near certainty in their minds.

The only hope I can see, other than a miracle with witnesses, is for us to just overwhelm them & show their illegal craven cover-up for what it was and never for 1 second let them or Impotus3 off the hook. While doing that, highlight all the way Dens will make life better and how repugs tax cuts always only help the rich and hurt the country. If we get a big enough #BLUETSUNAMI maybe we can stop the disaster of epic proportions that will hit us otherwise. Staying together, bringing in Independents and repugs who hate crazy (there are a few) and get back those who voted Democratic before and didn't in 2016 & we have a chance.

As many have said, dump's policies are all "transactional" - they serve only his real-time needs and have nothing to do with long-term strategic plans.

world. The next Democratic president will have the chance to strive for a just peace. Bernie Sanders if elected would be our first Jewish president of course and I think he could be trusted by both sides.

I’ve been busy and distracted, only mildly engaged in the plan.

But hearing Carter, I feel confident I can take his word and save myself some time.

Everything Trump touches dies. Now it’s the hope for Middle East peace that’s dead, killed by fundamentalist nutjobs actively working to usher-in worldwide devastation that fits their Armageddon story.

A lot of this stuff is just way too complicated for me to follow. I read one story and get one opinion and I'm guided in One Direction. I read another story and I get another opinion and I'm guided in the opposite direction. At least with President Carter I know that's a direction I can put Faith in.
