-and notably Murkowski - so there wouldn't be a tie. Am wondering what sweeteners were offered to her for that vote since she originally defied the "establishment" GOP to get that seat as a write-in way back.

so I'm sure all 3 Senators who are running are making their way to the airport to get planes out to Iowa (and not needing to actually "be" in D.C. over the weekend or technically, not until the final vote on Wednesday).

And while the break and timing of next week’s proceedings is appreciated, it pales in comparison to the likely acquittal* permitting tRump to run amok as a bratty, de facto dictator.



*to have an acquittal, there has to be a trial. That’s simply not what I’ve witnessed this week.
