Not getting us closer to removal. Everyone knew the outcome before this started. It is why Pelosi tried to avoid it like the plague. We better pick a candidate soon and fight like hell for them. We have just wasted time and energy on another win for him and another loss to our American institution and norms.

(5,137 posts)He will always be an impeached President and they have to spend the next year campaigning while trying to explain why they covered up the misconduct that they admit he committed and cannot defend.
75% of the country wanted to see witnesses and documents and they just spat in their face.
Removal by the Senate was never the endgame.
