with open arms" - Said by former Republican Rep David Jolly. I'm paraphrasing, but yeah, I think he was spot on, it did not take long for him to become their hero.

(8,419 posts)Look at the top three vote getters in the 2016 repuke primaries.
Three fucking assholes. And the top two were MAJOR FUCKING ASSHOLES.
Identity politics defined. THEY VOTE FOR ASSHOLES BECAUSE THEY ARE FUCKING ASSHOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, I get it, we all deal with Republicans, have friends and family that are Republicans. Some in my family are fucking assholes, cowards, wimps. One was all for the Iraq war, USA, USA, now he was too old to fight, so when called out he claimed he would enlist if he could. Then they extended the age and I hit him up. Time to go enlist, the fucking wimp turned green.
Others are good people for the most part, but are either racists or the type that are afraid to buck the system. We will never get the racists, but those afraid to go against the system,... they need to be more afraid of us than the repukes.
