Maybe it IS time for America to have a different form of government.

I for one am sick of being ruled over by the minority that occupies land while the true majority live in smaller geographic areas. As a Californian, I deeply resent folks in vast un populated States having 10 times the voice of the 42 million of us who live here and support their asses through our taxes and resources.

Maybe we SHOULD have another look at the supposedly organic Constitution.

I don’t think the Founding Fathers, wise as they were, intended for a government where minority rule is almost baked in. Not sure what can be done about it short of secession. Which is sounding like a better idea all the time.

It's the corrupt Republican representatives refusing to correctly do their jobs that I'd like to get rid of.

I do firmly agree we need a direct vote for the President. The Electoral College has to go.

Which will never happen but one can dream:

1. POTUS by popular vote
2. Eliminate the Senate
3. Greatly increase the size of the House and put strict measures in place to end gerrymandering
4. Term limits for SCOTUS

Then we would have an actual representative government.

have been trying to have a constitutional convention for a decade or more.
They have some really radical ideas and are already organized for one.

IIRC they need 38 states and already have 35 or 34. Haven't looked at this in about a year, but the right was anyway chomping at the bit to have a convention and make some radical changes. At one time the core issue was never allowing the government to go into debt. Think what that would do in times of war or disaster. First they would cut ALL social programs including SS & Medicare.......

#17. If it passed there would be no public voting for Senators. They would be appointed by their peers.

Reversing the results of Reconstruction. I know it's tough since the country is more of an urban/rural split than state by state, but the Confederates are still here and they're still traitors. All Southern States need to be kicked out of the union and left to fend for themselves. No more subsidies from blue states.

And switch to a Parliamentary system. Historically, parliamentary systems are the most stable and last the longest. Presidential systems usually crash much sooner than ours did.

refighting battles from the 1960s and 1860s.

Two-party politics, ignorance and anti-intellectualism have stalled almost all meaningful societal progress in the US since 1968.
