3. Would that make him the overall "winner".

He would probably like that idea until he was told that it is NOT a good thing.

What would the public reaction be? Would doing this help in November or backfire?

Otherwise we wouldn't be true to the reason we already impeached him once - to stand up for democratic core principles, the rule of law, and the Constitution.

... or to be shown, again, to be a bunch of lickspittle cowards.

I’ll accept either outcome.

7. Yes. When are the courts going to decide on McGahn's testimony and the tax returns?

There's lots of other crimes he should be impeached for. Let him spend the rest of his Presidency shredding subpoenas and keep the "I" word in the headlines. Nobody new rallied around him this time like they did around Clinton, which was the big fear with the first impeachment.

Also, start prosecuting underlings for kids in cages, incompetent Hurricane Maria response, grifting on the taxpayer's dime, etc. Don't stop until there isn't a single person in the cabinet who isn't "acting" because their predecessor was forced to resign.

And then go after Pence. And Jarvanka. And the idiot sons. Keep shaking the tree. We all know more shit is going to fall out of it.

mind you the House requested his tax returns in early 2019 and these endless court appeals will have delayed them being turned over for about a year and half. This is no way for oversight to be carried out. How can there be oversight when the president can simply tie up the House in court for the duration of his presidency?

I would make it their job to repeatedly go on national TV and publicly kiss Donnie Dollhands "looks like 50 lbs of chewed bubblegum" ass.

Despite all this, the Dems are still behaving with decorum and restraint. It's infuriating.

Could one of them please get angry like Al Pacino in Scent of a Woman, or "Justice for All"
