Every Person Called To Jury Duty

... should ask the judge to let them consult with the defense to shorten the trial and let them get back to stuff.

I got drafted and served. We all had to watch a 20min video discussing “bias” and how it can effect your decisions.

Wish I had a copy because everything the court told not to do the repukes have done it so and much more.

I reject this social contract. If one is above the law then we all are.

Said I could be subpoenaed anytime until April. If I get a subpoena I'm going to ask the judge if the government doesn't have to comply to a supernova then why should I have to? Does that make them better than me?

ever a defendant in a jury trial, that's exactly what I would want: a large pool of ready and willing potential jurors.

I thoroughly was satisfied by my experience on a jury and look forward to more of it.

I live in a very red area and don't agree with most things people around here say or do. I sure don't want to be stuck in a confined space with them.

You might be the one who keeps an innocent person out of jail. Or, you might be the one who convinces a civil jury to award damages to someone who was harmed by another.

One person on a criminal jury can essential override 11 others and cause a mistrial.

Never shirk jury duty. It's a huge responsibility we all have and may at some point need.
