Rudy Giuliani Admits That Bolton Meeting That Trump Denies Happened

Rudy Giuliani is admitting that the meeting with John Bolton that Trump claims never happened actually did happen.

The New York Times reported:

Mr. Bolton left the Oval Office after 10 minutes and returned to his office, he wrote. Shortly after, two aides came into his office, saying Mr. Trump had sent them out of a separate meeting on trade to ask about Mr. Kent, Mr. Bolton wrote.

Asked about Mr. Bolton’s account, Mr. Giuliani said, “I think he’s making some of it up. He’s sure making up — I wouldn’t call it making it up, but he’s acting like a real scumbag by never telling me that he objected once, and then saying I was a time bomb, or a firecracker or something.”

Rudy Giuliani confirms that the meeting where Trump directed Bolton to withhold Ukraine aid happened, but he is mad that Bolton didn’t complain to him directly.

Trump is guilty. The evidence continues to pile up against Trump on a daily basis.
Trump’s impeachment doesn’t go away after the Senate votes on the articles of impeachment on Wednesday. Trump is still impeached. He will still be impeached during the 2020 election, and he will carry impeachment with him for the rest of his life.

making it tougher for the Repug Senators to justify an acquittal. Even if Trump isn't removed from office on Wednesday - I'm hoping that more Repug Senators voting for removal - so at least we could claim some bipartisanship in this vote.

We know that Trump is hoping for exactly the opposite and wanting some Dems to vote for his acquittal.

none of them ever seem to matter.

1. I didn't do it.
2. I didn't do it but, even if I did, it's not illegal.

4. I did it and it's illegal but you can't do anything about it.

We enabled him. We let him get away each step of the way. We don't hold his feet to the fire. We don't hold him accountable.

I still think our best opportunity was to hold him accountable for his sexual related crimes. His pussy grabbing. His walking in to dressing rooms because he could. His sexual assaults on women. His accused rapes.

The climate was right to hold him accountable for all these crimes. We had the 'me too' movement working for us. We had Cosby. We had the Fox News guys. We had Hollywood stars and mogals going down. Weinstein. Epstein. Prince Andrew. etc, etc, etc.

We held their feet to the fire and they were banished from their pedestils.

If we would have kept the pressure on Trump - he too could have been banished. His Repug protectors would not go there to protect him. It would have been political suicide for them to protect him.

Instead we gave Trump a pass. We enabled him. We let these opportunities slip through our grasp. Comics made jokes about him.

We lost our best opportunity to remove him. Look where it got us.

They couldn't have shielded Trump. Too volatile of an issue and women would have crucified them if they tried to protect Trump in those cases.

Just think about how those other guys I mentioned above went down.

We left Trump off the hook. We shouldn't have.

The 'me too' movement was and is too powerful and the issue is too sensitive and close to the hearts and minds of women.

During that period where Trump was under the gun - we and the MSM supported Trump more than the women accusers.

I'm surprised that I'm not getting more support from folks on DU here for my beliefs on this issue.

" he’s acting like a real scumbag by never telling me that he objected"-Rudy knew it was at least unethical and likely illegal and found it somehow unfair that Bolton didn't reveal then and there that he wasn't down with shady shit.
