Lemmings don't commit mass suicide. What about humans?
Mass lemming suicide is a myth. (Google it.)
Mass human suicide, however, is what we may be witnessing in today's Republican Party which is bowing to their "Glorious Leader."
Anyone who believes this planet is a safe place while Trump is in office, is a fool. And after yesterday, there's a damn good chance he (and the Republican senate) can/will steal themselves another four years in power.
And while the vote counts may/will be tainted by a variety of factors, anyone, ANYONE AT ALL, who votes for a Republican is one of those mythical, suicidal lemmings.
Do I really need to continue? Most of us get this analogy. And those who can't or won't, never will.
I'll be grateful for a massive countrywide Democratic turnout in November. But who and what can stop the orange creature from calling it a fraud and ordering a do over?
Yesterday was a dark day for America and for all of our freedoms. Trump and Republicans have destroyed in three short years what it took a couple of centuries to build. (Be sure to thank your local Republican for this.)
We're still playing by the rules of the Constitution. They've said "Fuck the Constitution." Seems to me that makes us some form of those mythical lemmings
Democrats, we are badly in need of a Plan B.
