Dershowitz comment on every politician he knows believing their election is in the public

interest, then adding for most of you it's true, was interesting. The latest stat I see is 72% disapproval of Congress. So 72% of the people must think that's bullshit.

Maybe those senators he was referring to think pleasing 20 something percent of the voters justifies any means to get elected? That's in the public interest? I would imaging the percentage of people that actually benefit from all the looting may be right around there. Sure the guys way at the top take most of the dough, but there are a lot of crumbs to go around for their upper income supporters. They don't even mind much that the top is getting farther away from them as long as they have a lower class to look down on.
