Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump's senior adviser Jared Kushner told CNN's Fareed Zakaria that impeachment has not hurt the President's support, insisting that his base "is strong and getting stronger" and that former White House officials who have raised concerns about Trump "didn't have what it took."
In a wide-ranging interview on Fareed Zakaria GPS that focuses on the President's new plan to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Kushner told Zakaria that people outside Washington aren't paying attention to the impeachment drama unfolding in Washington, only the third time in US history that a sitting president has been put on trial.

"I think there's just a big difference between what the voters see and what the voters want and from what people maybe in Washington or in the media are calling for," Kushner said. "What we've seen since impeachment started is that most people, by the way, are not paying attention to it.
"

The President's son-in-law pointed to recent poll numbers to bolster his point. "We've seen the President's numbers go up by 7 points," Kushner said. "We got polling numbers back last night that shows the President's approval rating nationally is over 50%. It was the highest that it's been since right after the inauguration."

Kushner went on to suggest that Bolton and other senior former officials, including former Defense Secretary James Mattis and former White House chief of staff John Kelly, didn't have the chops to perform their jobs to the level needed.

Asked why so many senior officials have left feeling that Trump has done "a lot of wrong things," Kushner told Zakaria that, "What I have seen is that the cream has risen and -- I'm not going to say what the word is -- but that has sank."

Kushner went on to say that Trump has "cycled out a lot of the people who didn't have what it took to be successful here and a lot of the people who have come in and been excellent are not out there complaining and writing books because they're too busy working."

I can't wait to see that mealy-mouthed, little prick frog-marched off to prison. Because he will be. And, it's going to be a New York state prison, not a cushy federal one.

Well, look at that--little Jared's balls just dropped. Maybe it's time for his Bar Mitzvah.

Except that the reason the kid's balls may have dropped is because someone has their hand in his prostate while making his puppet arms swing and his puppet mouth open and close. And one of the definitions of mitzvah is a good deed performed out of religious duty.

I don't see how anyone of any sincere faith could think that service in Trump's entourage amounts to a good deed.

You just stole my post. I was going to post, "Have his balls dropped yet?" but then I thought, he probably doesn't even have any.

He looks like a third grade boy and this is what the taxpayers have to pay for?

Hope he ends up like his father did.

it's now time for you to step up.

Now you've had this entitled little weasel insult you publicly. Going to sit there and take it?

Or are you going to make a strong public statement about the goings on in the trump administration that you have witnessed first hand and damn sure know how dangerous it all is, and how the bastard should NOT be re elected. And you know DAMN sure that is the truth.

Going to come out and say it? Your words would resonate with even the trump lemmings.

Are you not going to speak up because you are afraid that it violates norms? Really, norms? One universal truth about the trump administration is that there are no more norms to be violated. They get trampled on every freaking day. There are NO such things as norms in this administration. For fuck's sake don't let that stop you.

You spent your entire careers in the military. You know what's what.

You know what you need to do, just freaking do it.

Note: I assuredly do not expect this to happen, just venting and making a point. I'm not delusional to think that this will become reality.
