At the point when the House Sergeant at Arms announces, "The President of the United States," all Democratic House Representatives and Senators should rise and exit the House Chambers. They should not return. Let Trump speak to a half-empty room.

It won't happen, but it should. The exit would say, very clearly, "That man is not the President of the United States."
