McGahn left after he got two people seated on the Supreme Court. He wasn't fired, and he accomplished his goals. He could very well say that he didn't witness any illegal activity. Most of the disagreements he had with Trump stem from the Mueller interviews (which was still affected by his privilege obligations). There's really no difference between getting McGahn to testify and getting a transcript of his Mueller interviews.

(16,906 posts)The House has the right to questions and subpoenas! Yet the courts are just not willing to do their job either! i can understand the bullshit stalling from the WH. BUT the courts seem to be playing RETHUG ball! Hate it!

This time,the Agencies Inspector Generals will act according to their Charters and Bi-Laws to clean up their back yards.
