Over 200 People Have Died from Coronavirus but 40,000 Americans died because of guns every year

Can we declare a quarantine on guns? BTW I have hunted, fished, and owned a FEW guns for years.

The number of deaths from the coronavirus saw the steepest increase yet over the last 24 hours, as Chinese officials announced that there have been 43 more deaths from the mysterious respiratory illness, for a total of 213. There are now almost 9,800 cases of coronavirus worldwide, 2,000 of which were confirmed over the last day in China — a 26 percent increase.

How many people die from gun-related injuries in the U.S. each year?

Suicides accounted for six-in-ten U.S. gun deaths in 2017
In 2017, the most recent year for which complete data is available, 39,773 people died from gun-related injuries in the U.S., according to the CDC. This figure includes gun murders and gun suicides, along with three other, less common types of gun-related deaths tracked by the CDC: those that were unintentional, involved law enforcement or whose circumstances could not be determined. It excludes deaths in which gunshot injuries played a contributing, but not principal, role. (CDC fatality statistics are based on information contained in death certificates.)

window. But I have to admit that if I were a parent of a child, I would likely behave similarly. In reality, in the USA, people should be more worried about the flu viruses. It turns out that Doctors in Tailand have likely saved the life of a seriously ill Wihan Coronavirus patient by giving him a cocktail of AIDS and Flu drugs, the article said that Doctors in China are starting to do the same for the most ill patients.

Your point on guns is excellent. On most years, they are deadlier than the flu on a gross number basis. But too many Americans choose to ignore that problem.
